Home Improvements - In at both ends

This bathroom makeover features a DOUBLE ENDED BATH!. With a high specification and a low budget, we achieved so much and the owners were REALLY AMAZED by the finish achieved.

With so much detail, this project took 11 days to complete.

The cabinet range looks fabulous. The cabinets are just B&Q kitchen drawline cabinets where I have cut away the back to make them slim line. The end of cabinet “cubbyhole” is a custom made cabinet creating usable space for a loo brush. I’m sure other fitters would have just bodged a white panel in here.

The most significant change to the whole room was the removal of an over sized stack pipe box that took up the whole corner end of the room. Using an air admittance valve, this allowed the soil pipe to be removed and the boxing-in removed, brining more light and space into the bathroom..

Behind the toilet, boxing in has been kept close and to a minimum.

Such a beautiful bathroom was finished off by opening the bathroom door onto the landing and fitting a large mirror to reflect the room and make it seem much larger.

My best project to date a smiles from ear to ear! (This project looks likely to get me 3 more bathroom makeovers)
